Yuzo Tokuyoshi, the founder of Kings and Queens Medics, comes from a family of pharmacists with a legacy of medical service spanning three generations. After beginning his career as a pharmacist in Japan, he established PROSPECT Co., Ltd., a data-driven startup focused on creating new value through innovative solutions. Subsequently, he founded Kings & Queens Limited in Kenya and launched Kings and Queens Medics, bringing his expertise and passion to a new frontier.

Tokuyoshi’s academic achievements include earning an MBA from Hosei University. Additionally, he collaborated with a Silicon Valley startup led by Stanford University physicians to develop a wearable device-based service for senior care in Japan, merging medical care with cutting-edge technology.

His connection to Kenya is deeply personal. During his first visit, he was captivated by the country’s vast natural beauty and, more importantly, the warmth and kindness of its people. However, he also witnessed the challenges many faced in accessing medical care and overcoming health-related stigma. Driven by a desire to address these issues, he launched Kings and Queens Medics to contribute to Kenya's future by improving healthcare accessibility and quality.

Additionally, in 2023, the company partnered with NEXT MOTION Co., Ltd. and Tottori City to conduct a demonstration experiment using drones and wearable devices to provide remote medical care to isolated communities during disasters.
